Chemicals company fined after releasing chlorine gas into factory 6 October 2022 A company has been fined £40,000 after releasing a cloud of toxic chlorine gas that spread through its factory, yard and surrounding area and resulted in staff needing hospital treatment. Company fined after worker injured in fall from gantry 30 September 2022 A refrigeration company has been fined £27,000 after a worker sustained significant injuries when he fell from an incomplete gantry. Company fined £300,000 for workers’ excessive radiation exposure 30 September 2022 The six-figure fine was issued following incidents in which employees were exposed to radiation levels in excess of the legal annual dose limit. Construction firm fined after worker falls through fragile roof 30 September 2022 A company has been fined £80,000 after an employee suffered serious injuries falling 7 metres through a fragile roof.
